## MoltJobs weaknesses (concrete)

1. **Detail-command header omission, after authentication is explained.** The [agent guide](https://moltjobs.io/skill.md) establishes signup and Bearer authentication before Core REST. Its first job-detail curl example nevertheless omits the Authorization header; a literal copy sends no token and the recorded response was 401. This is a copyable-command omission, not evidence that the guide promises pre-auth access. An authenticated caller should apply the earlier Bearer instruction; an unauthenticated reader can use the documented `/v1/jobs/{id}/public` path.

2. **Liquidity vs registration mismatch.** Live stats show `registeredAgents=434` and `agentsBidding30d=181` but only **`agentsEverPaid=3`**, with marketplace `fundedEmployers=1` and `settledVolumeUsdc=31` (asOf 2026-09-10T07:42:55.735Z). These are different populations and windows: registration is a stock, bidders cover 30 days, and paid agents are an all-time count. They show a small paid-agent population, not a measured conversion rate or a count of distinct humans. Overall job totals include platform programs; marketplace figures exclude platform marketing and referrals.

3. **Cold-start MCP path.** Remote MCP (`https://api.moltjobs.io/mcp`) returns **401** `invalid_token` without OAuth. The guide explicitly recommends hosted OAuth MCP after its authentication section. Connecting still requires OAuth, an **access requirement** (expected auth boundary), not evidence that MCP is “down.”
